CANTILEVER VACUUM BREAD AND BUN DEPANNERS 

Description:

The function of the depanner is to remove baked products from baking tins or trays as they are transported along the conveyor under the depanner head.

The depanned products are then transferred onto the product take away conveyor. (The tin conveyor and product conveyor are optional but can be supplied by Turkington)

This is achieved by the depanner suction conveyor, which is fitted with a series of silicone rubber metal detectable suction cups, designed to lift the bread or buns without damage. System Elements:

• The depanner head is fitted with a push button controlled drive unit for raising and lowering the head to suit different heights of product
• The suction head drive is fitted with an inverter unit as standard to enable the speed of the belt to be adjusted to suit production rates.
• A suitably sized suction fan, mounted on a rigid base is housed as standard within the depanner framework, this fan can also be supplied for remote siting away from the depanner and housed in a separate acoustic enclosure. An acoustic silencer is fitted also to the outlet side of the fan assembly.
• The main framework of the depanner is constructed in stainless steel and fitted with easily removable stainless steel access panels. The depanner is fitted with 4 swivel castors to enable the depanner to be removed away from the conveyors for cleaning and maintenance, when in the operating position articulated feet can be adjusted to take the load off the castors and provide stability during operation.
  

• A stainless steel electrical control panel is supplied as an integral part of the depanner and houses a PLC unit, inverter unit and contactors etc.
• In order to assist in the release of the products from the tins or trays an air blast unit is mounted prior to the depanner head.
